Children of St Nicholas Raymond Terrace visit Opal Aged Care

This morning, children from the Tookun and Keewong rooms at St Nicholas Early Education Raymond Terrace went on their first excursion to the Opal Aged Care Centre. During their visit, the children and their educators shared and listened to some of their favourite stories at St Nicholas Raymond Terrace, as well as some of their favourite songs like ‘Twinkle Twinkle’ and ‘The Hokey Pokey’.

Throughout the excursion, the children were able to learn about the importance of road safety and how to stay safe in the community. They also were given the opportunity to connect with and experience the different sights, sounds and smells of the outdoors and understand how different workplaces and facilities operate and work.

Our first outing was a huge success and we are very excited to plan out next adventure into our local community.
