Working at St Nicholas Early Education: Yola
Yola has been an educator at St Nicholas Early Education Raymond Terrace since the centre opened in January 2019.
Speaking about working at St Nicholas Early Education Raymond Terrace, Yola indicated the best part of working at St Nick’s newest centre is the positive atmosphere of the centre.
“For me, I love coming to work in the mornings and seeing beautiful and positive faces all around me,” she said. “It’s good to work in an environment like that.”
Yola believes another huge positive of being employed with St Nicholas Raymond Terrace being part of a fantastic team of educators.
“We’ve got a really good team at St Nicholas,” she said. “I have worked with many of the educators in the past [across other services] and was really excited to return after maternity leave.”
Lastly, Yola has high praise for St Nicholas’ philosophy of early education.
“I love that St Nicholas early education is Reggio-inspired. It means there is a warm, loving environment where children can be themselves and learn through play.”
That play-based early education is at the heart of St Nick’s curriculum.
